Rev. Katie Southon Bio

Minister, Worship and Pastoral Care ext. 14

25 years ago I was ordained and since then I’ve served in 6 pastoral charges .. .Cottam/Albuna, Bothwell/Wabash. South Mersea, Komoka, Binkley (Hamilton) and now Wellington Square. I’ve been at WS since the fall of 2004. My husband, Michael is Director of Labour Affairs with Ford of Canada, working out of the head office in Oakville. He’s been with Ford for 31 years and whenever he was transferred, there were opportunities for me to serve a church nearby … that’s why my placements were all near  Windsor, London and Oakville.   

We have 3 children. Jeff is currently working as a Project Manager for a Burlington company. Mark has finished his 3rd year at Brock in business.  Jillian has finished her 1st year at Humber in photography. 

Favourite Things.....I’m often listening to music and Casting Crowns is one of my many favourite bands.
Chocolate (Toblerone especially) is something else I really like. I love reading, walking and being near water.
