Sharon Mosher Bio

I am wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, friend, and always a seeker to understand God’s call. I’m retired from the Peel Board of Education as teacher-librarian/consultant. Past service includes membership on the boards of The Ontario School Library Association, Halton Hills Public Library, St. Andrews U.C. (Georgetown) Worship Committee and Official Board. Three years ago, Neal and I retired to Burlington, and knowing the mission and theology of WS, entered into worship and service here. The nurturing of small group ministries, energetic and enthusiastic contemporary services, the reflective traditional service availability and the welcoming into both styles has been reaffirming of our choice.

Fave movies: Casablanca, Shrek 3
Fave authors: Madeleine L’Engle, Joan Chittister, Kathleen Norris
Fave songs/bands: Messiah, Mormon Tabernacle Choir
Fave snacks: chocolate, Doritos
Fave luncheon date: (dead) Gandhi, to help me understand how he lived his life so completely open to his convictions; (alive) Joan Chittister, a feisty Benedictine Sister who thinks critically, reverently, with a sense of humour
