Our Ministers
Lead\Co-ordinating Minister ext. 19
Born in Ottawa, Orville grew up in several communities where his father (also a minister) served the United Church. He graduated from the University of Windsor (B.Sc), Queen’s (M.Div) and Princeton (D. Min). He has served churches in New Brunswick and Southern Ontario, most recently at Wellington Square United, in Burlington (next to Hamilton).
He tries to stay on a constant learning and growth curve -about prayer, spiritual formation, contemporary worship, leadership, and the renewal of Christ’s church.
Orville and Nancy just celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary. They have three 20-something children. Orville still plays hockey in winter and golf in summer. He loves football (CFL), and cheers for the Detroit Red Wings (grew up in Windsor). He continues to hope that his best round on the golf course is in the near future. That is a faint possibility; What is more certain is that Christ’s Spirit is alive and moving in the church, and bringing renewal and deeper faith wherever hearts are open and receptive.
