For my husband Michael and I, along with our children Eric and Abbey, this chapter of life at Wellington Square began in July 2007, moving here after 3 years serving the Oxford Centre/Curries Pastoral Charge, south of Woodstock. We love being here, for lots of reasons, but mostly because it is a humble privilege to serve in this time, and this place. God has been very good (again) in calling us to this community of Christ-followers. I continually sit on the edge of my seat, waiting to see what God will do next, through and for this community. In the words of Chris Tomlin, “greater things are yet to come…”
Childhood Ambition.....to meet Princess Diana, and to be the 9th woman on the Supreme Court of Canada (as in, there were 8 other women already on the bench)
Proudest Moment.....becoming a mother
Fondest Childhood Memory.....family walks along Lorraine Bay and back through the grove
Perfect Day.....herbal tea and a good newspaper (comics first); a long walk on the beach; nap; garden-puttering; and a long, story-filled family dinner
Favourite Movie.....The Sound of Music, Chariots of Fire and Shawshank Redemption
Favourite CD.....anything by Chris Tomlin, Casting Crowns or U2
Inspiration.....Martin Luther King Jr., Mother Teresa
Biggest challenge.....living a balanced life
Favourite Food(s).....new potatoes boiled with fresh mint; gluten-free cherry pie
