Heather Mackey Bio

Director, Children’s Ministry ext. 21

I am Heather Mackey, a learning and loving wife…a mother of four wonderful children and a Children’s Ministry Director for over 10 years. I decided to serve in Children’s Ministry because I have the desire to teach kids about God’s boundless love for them. I was inspired into ministry by my father who taught me to seek God’s will not mine.
My favorite quote is…There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, “Thy will be done,” and those to whom God says, “All right, then, have it your way.” C.S. Lewis
I’ve had the honor of doing mission work in Africa by serving in schools and orphanages and seeing God work in marvelous and surprising ways. I continue to help and equip other church families by working with their leaders to help kick-start growth for their Children’s Ministries through leading conferences, workshops, seminars and group consultations.
I love being a part of Wellington Square United Church. This community continues to demonstrate grace and model a love for one another as we grow up together in our relationship with Christ.
