Rob Smith Bio

My wife Nikki (cute blond – you may have seen her in a WSUC drama) and I live in Burlington and have been attending Wellington Square since 2001. We have a two-and-a-half year old named Charlie and, other than our love for each other, he is the love of our lives. My Hamilton/Burlington based financial services business keeps me pretty busy when not enjoying family life. A ‘God moment’ for me was participating in the men’s mission trip to Mexico in 2004.

What drew us to (and kept us at) Wellington Square was the welcoming atmosphere and the gentle nudging toward spiritual development and the teachings of the Christian faith. Maintaining and improving this environment will be important to the growth of this church. The accomplishments of this faith community are an awesome example of what can happen when people come together for good. It’s great to be involved in a church that is leading in children’s ministry, music, outreach and faith development.
