World Day of Prayer
World Day of Prayer was started by women in Canada and the United States in 1922 and is observed in more than 170 countries. This year’s theme is from Psalm 150:6 “Let Everything That Has Breath Praise God“ written by the Women’s Inter-Church Council of Cameroon. The motto is “Informed Prayer, Prayerful Action“.
Local observances are happening on Friday, March 5 at:
- 1:30 pm at Burlington East Presbyterian Church , 505 Walker’s Line
- 7:30 pm at West Plains United Church , 549 Plains Rd. W.
