Friday Night Community Dinner

Thank you to all those who came out to prepare and serve close to 50 people this past Friday. Although it was hot, we prepared a delicious and nutritious meal and were able to send left overs home to many in need. Thanks to Marnie for providing yet another sweet treat that brings many smiles. The fellowship continues to be a big reason why many clients come, as one lady commented that she really enjoys the dinners as she is able to get together with a group of ladies and spend time together and without it they wouldn’t see each other. Please continue to spread the word to friends and family of our need for volunteers the last Friday of July and all Fridays in August and please e-mail me with your availability. This coming Friday we have a group from Burlington Baptist Church coming in to prepare and serve. Thanks again for your servant hearts.
