Friday Night Community Dinners at Wellington Square | This summer we have had so much to be thankful for … – our wonderful committed volunteers – all of the clients (new and regulars) who join us in fellowship each Friday and teach us how to be humble servants of God – outstanding coordinators who plan menus, buy food, and do set-up and closing – our church staff who support the dinners through set up, communication, and help wherever needed – the generous donations that have come in the form of fridges and freezers, and food – the Burlington Baptist volunteers who have so willingly filled in when we needed it – the many laughs, sweating in the hot kitchen and working together as a team – the prayers and support from individuals and churches in Burlington As we go forward into the fall, we hope to continue to expand our dinners, and welcome Burlington Baptist and Port Nelson as regular Friday night serving teams starting Sept. 17 and 24.
We are in need of volunteers for Sept. 10! Our next Wellington Square serving night after that will be October 1. To sign up for these dates contact Lisa Lunski-Wood after the service or at llunski-wood@wsquare.ca Contact.

Partnership West Food Bank | Located at 1254 Plains Road East at Maple, invites you to a Food Drive / Boot Sale / BBQ on Sun. Sept. 12 from 8am – 3pm. Come after church and bring some items with you for the Food Bank. You can browse and purchase items in the “Boot Sale,” and have a tasty lunch!
