Welcome & Welcome Back

Some of you are getting back to church after summer schedules that took you away. Others here this morning are starting a new fall routine, checking out churches and wondering if there’s a place where your spiritual life can be comfortable, and can grow. Welcome, -to ALL of you.
I commend you for starting your fall here at Wellington Square. We are an exciting ‘work in progress’. This church is noted for numerous things –worship, children & youth, missions, spiritual vitality.
We have these two diverse services designed to help you connect with God in a way that fits your style. GraceLand (children’s ministry) blows people away –tons of fun, while helping kids learn about Jesus. GraceLand Rocks!

There’s also a LOT of service and mission to others. Take a look at some of the ways you might touch a life –here in your community, or far, far away. With our worship, education, and missions we really want to be a group of people doing more than just going through the motions. There’s a spiritual vitality in this place that we hope you’ll be comfortable with, and plug into.

This church always seems to be evolving and changing. We are a work in progress. This fall we have two “search committee’s” at work to find replacement staff for our Youth Ministry, and our Music leadership at 11a.m. We also have a Building Committee fine tuning the architect’s drawings for a renovation and expansion. In a few months (maybe after Christmas?) some big changes to our building will take place.
With all that going on, we want to be sure about our Faith. For the next three weeks we’re investigating the boundaries of belief alongside the challenges and criticisms Christianity is subjected to. There’s lots that could be wrong with a church; there’s many things we can have questions about; there are doubts that crop up, and life crisis that can shake us. So we’re starting the fall with a 3 part series: ‘Believe it Or Not’.
