Community & Lunch Program
Fridays from 10am-3pm
Every Friday friends attend our weekly daytime Hub & Lunch. Our Hub which is open from 10am-3pm offers snacks, hot and cold drinks, and a safe and caring space where people can connect, read, knit, play games, or just relax. A delicious and nutritious lunch including hot food, soup and salad bar, dessert, fresh fruit, and drinks is served between 12pm and 2pm in the dining room. Volunteers serve the buffet-style lunch and leftover food is packaged and provided for people to take home following the meal. People come for various reasons, including eating a delicious and healthy meal, feeling included and cared for, sharing resources, and meeting new friends.
We are an inclusive space where all are welcome to attend.
how you can help
volunteer and get involved
If you have what others need, please give generously. Volunteers work onsite throughout the week during the day cutting, chopping, packaging, serving food, washing dishes, stacking tables and chairs, preparing the meal and space for our Friday Lunch.
For more information about how you can get involved contact Suzanne Wickett.

connect with people who can help us
We are always looking for those with connections in the food industry who might be able to help. If you know of volunteers, potential donors, grants, or organizations that can partner with us, we’d love to be introduced!
